Method -

Step 1 - Knead dough with all the ingredients and let it rest for around 30 minutes.

Step 2 - Roll roti from dough. Coat the upper side with some melted butter. Sprinkle some dry flour on it.

Step 3 - Cut the roti into long thin strips (half inch) with the help of a knife. Collect all the strips, place them over one another and roll them in a circular disc. Now, roll the layered disc again with a rolling pin.

Step 4 - Coat one side of the naan with some water, and immediately put it on a hot tawa with water-coated side down on the tawa. Press the edges of the naan lightly so that it sticks to the tawa. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes.

Step 5 - Next, lift the tawa with the naan sticking to it and turn it upside down to cook the naan directly on the stove flame. This method makes tandoor-like naan on your tawa!
