Everyone craves some comfort food during winter. The dipping temperature usually makes us opt for warm dishes. While for some people, comfort food means a cup of hot chocolate, others prefer a steaming plate of khichdi. Actor Sonu Sood, too, has found his comfort food. The actor rooted for some iconic Punjabi dishes. Can you guess what he relished? Sonu posted a photo of his meal and wrote, “Makki ki roti, Sarson ka saag”. The flatbread, made with makki ka atta, is a popular dish and is best suited to the preparation made with mustard leaves.

Sonu Sood's platter shows more dishes. We see bowls of curry, pickles, dessert, and salad. The actor added in the caption, “Anyone wants to join?”

‘Sonu Sood Da Punjabi Dhaba' was also serving us piping hot tandoori rotis last year. In a video where he is promoting small-scale businesses, the actor was seen making these rotis in a traditional tandoor. “Once you eat rotis from Sonu Sood da Punjabi dhaba, you won't feel like having rotis anywhere else,” he said in the video. It's not always about Punjabi food when Sonu Sood is showing off his culinary skills. The actor tried making a Maharashtrian dish last year. He showed his followers how to make misal-pav. The misal is a flavour-packed gravy made with lentils and spices. This is served with soft buttered pav and topped with sev, onions, tomatoes, and coriander. The caption read, “Khud banao khud khao (cook it yourself and eat). Who wants misal pav?" Want to know more about it? Find it here.
