Pancakes make for a great breakfast option. They are super delicious and can be made healthy. What's even more interesting is that they are versatile and can be cooked in so many different ways. If you enjoy savoury pancakes, you have to try out Yachaejeon. Wondering what is it? If you are aware of Korean cuisine, you would perhaps know about this drool-worthy dish. Yachaejeon is a popular Korean vegetable pancake prepared with a healthy twist. It's crispy, and crunchy yet soft and savoury enjoyed by Koreans as a side dish, breakfast or snack. So, whenever you want to give your breakfast a healthy twist, rustle this. Don't worry about the recipe. Chef Guntas Sethi has shared the recipe for Yachaejeon (Korean vegetable pancake) through a video on Instagram.

For the caption, Guntas wrote, “Is a super easy savoury breakfast pancake loaded with veggies with a healthy oat flour base giving you a unique burst of flavours! The name might seem scary, but it's worth the try because you will feel like you're on the streets of Seoul with your breakfast staple. It also makes for a great snack.”
To make this, take all your vegetables in a container. Add baking powder, salt and pepper, oats flour or normal flour, water or vegetable stock and make a nice thick batter. Now, heat a pan and put a little bit of oil on it. Spread the batter in the pan and top it off with some sesame seeds. Cook it on low to medium flame by covering the lid. Once, a side is cooked, flip it and again, cook the other side properly.

In another recipe with a Korean twist, chef Guntas Sethi demonstrated the process of making kimchi fried rice. Kimchi is basically prepared with a number of fermented vegetables; and is flavoured with garlic, gochugaru, and spring onions. It's nutritious and healthy therefore, many people try to make kimchi a part of their diet. One super delicious way to do so is through kimchi fried rice. For this, just chop kimchi and put it aside. Heat some oil in a pan and add whatever vegetables you like. Add kimchi, along with gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil and rice vinegar and the kimchi water. Now, put leftover rice into it and give it a good mix. You can use some greens and sesame seeds to garnish the dish.
