McDonald's burgers have a mass appeal that is so pervasive that no one is left out of it. From world leaders to the common man, the food chain has fans from across the social, economic and political spectrum. That's not least because of the addictive quality of the burgers and the fries. We have all been prone to the addictive pull of the delicious burgers and the hot and salty fries, so why should it be any different for one of the most powerful men on Earth?U.S. President Donald Trump also seemingly has a big appetite for McDonald's burgers, as is claimed in a new book that has been written by his former campaign aides Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie. The book has revealed what exactly the President orders from McDonald's and it totals a whopping 2,500 calories! Looks like the most ardent burger lovers have a competition with the American president.
Trump's McDonald's order consists of 'two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish, and a chocolate malted', claims the book, which is titled 'Let Trump Be Trump'. Each Big Mac hamburger has three pieces of bread, two meat patties and cheese slices, all slathered in a 'special sauce'. Each burger amounts to 540 calories a piece. The chocolate malted being referred to over here, is actually the chocolate milkshake, a glass of which packs in over 530 calories. The book has gone on to elaborate on the President's love for the international restaurant chain's breakfast too. According to the writers, Trump would make his bodyguard and confidante run to the nearest McDonald's store to get him an Egg McMuffin for breakfast every day, during his campaigning days.
