These sooji triangles recipe by Mumbai-based YouTuber and blogger Alpa is so scrummy that it is hard to stop at one. Sooji (or semolina) is used to make a variety of Indian dishes, from starters to mains, sooji can help lend a crispy and delicious touch to everything. The vegetarian recipe does not occupy a great chunk of your time either, provided you have all the ingredients ready.

For the recipe, you would need some grated potatoes, sooji, besan, mix it well together with water. Keep it aside for 10 minutes so that the sooji soaks all the water. Then add finely chopped tomatoes, onions, bellpeppers, capsicum, coriander leaves, peas, jeera powder, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, lime juice, turmeric and salt. The vegetables are optional, you can add whatever vegetables you have in your house to this sooji batter. Add some baking soda and mix everything up vigorously. Transfer it into a bowl or baking tin and steam it. Since you are not frying it, you can cut back on many calories too!
