There's something about cheese; you stuff it in anything and the blandest of dishes come alive. The best part about cheesy dishes is that they are a hit among both kids and adults alike. If you have made a bit too many rotis at one go, you need not toss them away. As long as you have a bit of cheese, sauces and herbs at your disposal, you can give your leftover chapatis a whole new makeover.

In this recipe of cheesy veggie roti cone, Mumbai-based YouTuber Alpa Modi tells us how you can make the most of chapatis at your home. It is so easy that you can make them whenever hunger strikes. Cut your roti in four parts, fill them with veggies and cheese and fry them until golden brown. Yes, that's all it takes to make this crispy snack. The recipe video posted on YouTube channel ‘Something's Cooking With Alpa', also shows how you can glue your rotis together in a cone with maida to ensure they do not open up while frying. For the filling, you can be as experimental as you want. In this recipe, the stuffing is made with the goodness of onions, ginger, garlic, capsicum, jalapenos, black olives, chilli flakes, seasoning, tomato ketchup and cilantro. In the end, the mix is tossed together with shredded mozzarella cheese and stuffed carefully in the cones. Deep-fry these veggie cones until crisp, and serve hot.
