Indian Cricketer Robin Uthappa can set the field on fire when he is batting for his team. But when he is off the field and in a restaurant, he can set our cravings on fire with his food photography. The athlete has melted our hearts and sent our tummies rumbling by posting photos of savoury dishes on his Instagram page. He wasn't alone at the restaurant. He was accompanied by his wife Shheethal,  tennis player Tanvi Shah and other friends. "Food is tastier when it's with friends like these," the cricketer wrote in the caption, and added, "My favourite was the Jalapeno and salmon."

The photos he shared on Instagram show a delicious platter of jalapeno salmon alongside savoury dishes of Japanese plum tofu, risotto torte and salad. We know, these dishes are as mouth-watering as they look on the plate. 

Robin Uthappa had shared more food photos from a recent get-together at a restaurant. The exotic dishes, ranging from skillet dinner rolls to rosy desserts, looked the perfect pick for a foodie that the cricketer is. The treat was complete with the joy of the family. 

The cricketer's love for food isn't a secret. But did you know he was a good baker himself? Last month, the family of three teamed up with pastry chef Pooja Dhingra over a video call to bake a cake in a pressure cooker. In the video that Robin Uthappa shared, Shheethal confessed that her husband is a "very good baker." However, Robin is too shy to admit his culinary talents.

During IPL this year, the Chennai Super Kings batsman took a break and stepped into a professional kitchen with his family. His son was as excited as Robin Uthappa to wear the chef's hat and watch the making of cookies. 

The master cricketer is also fond of barbecue and we saw him cooking it himself. Guess who gave him company? His teammate, cricketer Varun Aaron whom he called the "grill master" in his caption.

In fact, Robin Uthappa's quarantine in Dubai also had good food on the list. While he enjoyed watching the matches on his laptop, he devoured platefuls of yummy meals.
