Another such popular desi sweet dish is kalakand. Soft, creamy and milky - kalakand melts in mouth in just no time. The best part is, kalakand is easily available in almost every part of India, with some basic differences in the ingredients. You can easily make it at home too. You heard us. Kalakand includes some basic ingredients and can be made at home without any fuss.

A quintessential kalakand includes condensed milk, chenna (ricotta cheese) and sugar. You can add some other nuts and spices to enhance the flavour. Just that you need time and patience to set the sweetmeat. What if we say we found a recipe that eliminates the long hours (of preparation) too?! You heard us. The recipe has been shared by food vlogger Parul on her YouTube channel 'Cook With Parul'.

Instant Dessert Recipe: How To Make Bread Kalakand In 5 Minutes:

To make this dish, we need milk, sugar, cardamom, saffron, almond, pista, cashew nut and bread.

First, boil the milk and bring it to one-third quantity. Add sugar and cardamom powder to it and mix. Turn off the flame, add saffron and chopped dry fruits and mix. Let it cool.

Take the breads and cut off the edges. Now, take a tray and add rabdi to create the base, then add breads evenly. Put some rabdi and again bread slices and create layers.

Garnish with dry fruits and let it set in fridge for 30 minutes max. Next, cut the kalakand into small pieces and indulge.

The only tough part is, preparing the rabdi with patience. However, that too will take not more than 5 minutes.
