The 94th Academy Awards was held today (on March 28, 2022, IST) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Las Vegas. Hollywood actor Will Smith received the 'Best Actor' award for his film 'King Richard, while Jessica Chastain became the 'Best Actress' for 'The Eyes Of Tammy Faye'. 'CODA' became 2022's 'Best Picture' and Jane Campion won the 'Best Director' award for the movie 'The Power Of The Dog'. And as per the tradition, all the stars celebrated their win at the Governor's Ball - an official post-Oscars celebration by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Every year, the Governor's Ball merge food, fashion, music, art and design, making it a one-of-a-kind affair of the year.
Like every year, celebrated chef Wolfgang Puck and his Wolfgang Puck Catering returned to set up an exquisite menu for the attendees at the after-party. But this year, they were not alone. Chef Wolfgang collaborated with Bronx-based culinary collective Ghetto Gastro for the Oscars 2022. According to an official release, the idea behind the collaboration was to masterfully blend the influences of the African culture into the feast menu. "We're thrilled to welcome the extraordinary talents of Ghetto Gastro to the table. Together, Wolfgang and the Ghetto Gastro collective will create an inspired culinary experience for our Oscars guests," stated Jennifer Todd, Academy governor and Awards Committee chairman.
