After making her mark in Bollywood, actress Deepika Padukone is now creating waves all over the world. Recently, she became the first Indian to unveil the trophy at the FIFA world cup held in Qatar. She has also been signed by the popular fashion house Louis Vuitton as the face of the brand globally and was announced as a member of the prestigious jury at the Cannes Film Festival. And now, the diva has added another feather to her cap by being a presenter at the Oscars ceremony for 2023. To recognise her achievement, dairy brand Amul decided to honour her through a quirky creative. Take a look:
The official Instagram handle of Amul India shared the creative on the photo-sharing application. In the topical, we could see a caricature of Deepika Padukone with the Amul girl mascot. They both were enjoying buttered toast and were dressed up as if attending the Oscars 2023 ceremony. "ToastKar for Deepika," read the header text in Amul's post, a clever pun on the word 'Oscar'. Meanwhile, the tagline read, "Amul: Best Butter." "Deepika Padukone to be a presenter at the 95th Academy Awards," they wrote in the caption.
Amul is one of the brands which is widely appreciated for its quirky marketing. Its witty topicals regularly go viral and feature a variety of issues from the fields of entertainment, sports and business news. Previously, the brand had honoured Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan once again for the success of their film 'Pathaan'.
