In addition to pairing with the citrus notes, Kutcher said orange juice removes the "burnt sense" from the coffee. He then explains how much orange juice he actually mixes in his coffee. "So, if I ever have like a medium roast coffee and I'm like, ah, I really would prefer this be a little bit more light roast, I take just a splash, not very much, a splash of orange juice. And it brightens up the coffee and gives it a little bit of sweetness." Kutcher also managed to convince Clarkson to try this unique combination. "Yeah, it sounds gross, but I'm going to try it," she said. However, he warned her not to "go overboard" because if he adds too much it "gets all sorts of not fun."
