Donald Trump attended a dinner hosted by Indian president Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

US President Donald Trump's India visit has been an interesting affair that the world took notice of. From a huge "Namaste Trump" event in Ahmedabad to visits to Sabarmati Ashram and Taj Mahal, India made sure to live up to its belief of "Atithi Devo Bhava' (Guest is God). While the US President along with the first lady Melania Trump, daughter Ivanka Trump and the US delegation were here, they were treated with a number of Indian dishes too.

After they were greeted with local Gujarati food khaman, ginger tea and broccoli-corn samosa on the first day, there was a special spread that was prepared for them at the banquet dinner hosted by Indian president Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. And guess what, we've got all the details of what was served at the dinner.

With an exquisite assortment of various Indian and western gourmet dishes, the banquet dinner sure was an extravagant affair. On the list of preparations, Smoked Orange Peel Panna Cotta featured at the top as the Amuse-Bouche, while the soup on offer was Lemon Grass and Coriander Shorba.

The entree for the non-veg menu was given an American twist with Cajun Spiced Salmon that played a perfect contrast to Indian dishes such as Raan Alishan in Rogani Gravy and Dum Ghosht Biryani.

Vegetarian dishes were equally fascinating with the menu offering all-time favourite Indian dishes such as Aloo Tikki Chaat with Palak Papri, Dum Gucchi Matar and Dal Raisina with a side of Indian breads such as Sheermal, Missi Roti and Naan.

Hazlenut Apple Pie with Salty Caramel sauce and Malpua Rabri Roll completed the entire menu by being the icing on the cake.

The banquet dinner also saw some Indian bigwigs, who were invited to join in. The list included music maestro A.R. Rahman and Indian Michelin-Star Chef Vikas Khanna. Chef Khanna also shared some pictures from the dinner on his Instagram account where he can be seen interacting with the US President.

American President Trump was on a two-day trip to India. After the final engagement of the visit, Donald Trump emplaned to the US later in the night.
