Are you tired of bizarre food combos? Most of us wonder why people want to mix ingredients in such weird ways. Some types of fusion food are appetising, but some are just too strange to be good. While it is important to encourage innovation, taste should not be completely abandoned. Unfortunately, most bizarre food videos show combinations that seem to make no sense, even to people who are not foodies. The latest one to go viral shows an unusual way of making shawarma. Wondering what it is? Well, if you are a fan of the dish or of pani puri, consider yourselves warned!

The video was uploaded by Vatsal Jariwala on the page @thefoodiecam. In it, we see a street vendor in Surat chopping up shreds of roasted chicken. He then adds a few common shawarma ingredients such as pieces of cabbage, beetroot, and potato. He adds some sauces and then mixes it all together. What happens next, however, will alarm foodies. He begins making holes on top of puris and arranging them on a plate. He then spoons the chicken mixture into the puris, adds more sauces, and grates cheese on top. He finally melts the cheese and hands the plate to a customer. Watch the video below:

The reel has been captioned, "India's first pani puri shawarma." It has received around 1.4M views and more than 48.5K likes so far. The dish was so unpopular, that users in the comments started wishing there was a dislike button. People seemed almost unanimously opposed to this food combo and were quick to express their anger. Some even sarcastically suggested the vendor add more bizarre ingredients like chocolate syrup and Maggi. Check out some of the reactions below:
