While many of us might crave momos on a rainy evening or over the weekend, have you ever thought of working in a dumpling store? Here is why people are getting interested to work at one. An interesting post on X (formerly Twitter) might make you think twice before saying no to the job. Dropped on the microblogging platform by a user named Amrita Singh, the screenshot of a local momo shop revealed that it was willing to pay employees, precisely "helper", a decent sum of Rs 25,000.
The picture features a glimpse of a local momo store at an undisclosed location. Flour doughs, buns, a range of condiments, and plastic containers were displayed on a table. On a banner, pasted on the wall, details of the job offering were written precisely. It informed that anyone interested in joining the outlet as a “worker or helper” would be paid Rs 25,000.

Comparing the remuneration with the salary packages offered to immediate college pass outs, the caption accompanying the post read, “Damn this local momo shop is offering a better package than the average college in India these days.”
With the dumpling shop providing such an inviting offer, social media users were quick to react to the post.
“Reality no one shows” commented one disappointed individual. Another took no time to say, “Applying right now”. A food aficionado pointed out that along with the fee, employees would also get “free momos every day to eat.”

Some begged to differ. Highlighting the cons, a person wrote, “Working hours 11 am to 12 pm. Plus whole day on feet, no paid holiday, and no insurance.” Another added, “Average college salary will increase considerably over a period of time, this won't."
