Recently, a Twitter user shared a funny incident about the time he gifted his mother a digital weighing scale. Rather than using it to track portion sizes and meals, she found another clever use for it that left the internet in splits. Take a look:

The tweet was shared by user Abhishek Bansal, who goes by the handle, @swaaha_. "Before WFH ended, I bought my mom a small digital weighing scale for measuring portions to track calories accurately," he explained. However, Bansal's mother found another creative and hilarious alternate use for the weighing scale. "6 months later I visit home and find out that she's been using it to re-weigh the veggies she buys and create a ruckus if it's even 10 gm less," he shared on Twitter.

The hilarious and relatable post about the digital weighing scale struck a chord with Indian users on Twitter. Many of them revealed that they had faced many similar situations in their own households as well. "In our home, it is used to measure the paneer and ghees the neighbourhood milkmen bring," wrote one user. "Ditto at my home," said another one.
