Self-defence has become an important part of our lives. After all, attackers never roll out an announcement before coming. Basic self-defence not only boosts your confidence but also helps you escape uninvited trouble. Something similar happened with a waitress at a restaurant, who showcased some impeccable martial arts to escape from two customers who visibly attempted to harm her. CCTV footage of the incident is going viral on social media and has amassed over 1 million views on the microblogging site.

The 15-second video opened with the waitress standing near a table where two men were seated. Before proceeding with the clip, we spotted a number of empty blue bottles (presumably of beer) accumulated on the table. Moments into the video, we see one of them standing up and forcibly holding the waitress' hand. First, she swiftly tries to move away but upon being held for the second time, the woman punches him multiple times in the stomach. Meanwhile, we observe the second guy attempting to fight her but ending up meeting a similar sticky end. Twitter has already titled the woman as “female bruce lee.” Watch the video here:

The internet was particularly impressed with the waitress' martial arts' skills. However, a section of Twitter has termed the fight “straight out of a movie” as well as “staged.” Reacting to the clip, a user stated, “She just had to explain to them the concept of: you get what you get and you don't have a fit.”

“Girl Yess,” another said.

A person wrote, “The way she caught the chair was like she was ready to fight Thanos.”

Some even termed the whole fight “staged.”

“Looks like something out of the movies, and that's why some martial arts movies look so good because they don't reflect reality, and that's also why this video is staged, but looks good nonetheless,” read a tweet.
