For those who are on a diet, it can be downright unbearable. But don't panic! Celebrity fitness trainer Yasmin Karachiwala has a healthy substitute that allows you to enjoy chocolate guilt free.

As per Yasmin, this also makes for a great pre/post workout snack and is high in protein. The video shared by the fitness trainer features her relishing a mouthful of the sweet treat. "Give in to that sweet tooth craving guilt-free. This tastes just like the real thing, or maybe even more satisfying. Also, it could be a great pre/ post workout snack and it's high in protein," she wrote in the caption. In the video, Yasmin also shared the recipe to make delicious-looking chocolate treats at home.

Ingredients:

Roasted hazelnuts - 1 and 1/4 cup plus 4 for centre

Dates, pitted and soaked in water - 1/2 cup

Water (reserved from soaking the dates) - 1/4 cup

Vegan chocolate protein - 4 Tbsp

Cocoa powder - 2 Tbsp

For Coating:

Dark chocolate - 100 gm

Method:

Step 1: In a food processor, add 1 cup of roasted hazelnuts, soaked dates, cocoa powder, protein powder, and water. Blend until the mixture is sticky.

Step 2: Make a flat pancake, and place a full roasted hazelnut in the centre. Now roll it into a ball.

Step 3: Keep the balls in the freezer for at least 30 mins.

Step 4: Melt the dark chocolate and dip the pancake balls into it. Make sure you put a generous coating. Crush the remaining hazelnut and sprinkle it over.

Step 5: Now freeze for 60 mins and enjoy.
