5 Best Mimosa Recipes
There’s nothing groundbreaking about serving a fabulous mimosa at brunch, made with freshly squeezed orange juice and champagne or sparkling wine. So instead of telling you how fun and simple it is to craft a classic mimosa, we’re going to help you take this brunch staple to the next level. Scroll down for tips and tricks to make a perfect mimosa, and our favourite variations.
How to Make The Best Mimosa1. Use a dry sparkling wine, instead of a sweet one while making mimosas. A dry Prosecco is a great option, as well.2. We know it’s easier to use the store-bought stuff, but nothing beats freshly squeezed orange juice. Especially when half of the drink is made from orange juice, you want to use the best. It’s a little lighter, slightly tart and more delicate than anything you can find in the store.3. A classic mimosa calls for equal parts sparkling wine to orange juice. Tip: Always add the sparkling wine first, and then top it off with orange juice. The cocktail mixes together on its own this way, so you don’t need to stir it which prevents the wine from becoming flat.

4. Refrigerate the wine and orange juice until you are ready to serve. And once you’ve poured yourself a drink, stick everything back in the refrigerator until you’re ready for round two.
