Sachin Tendulkar's wife Anjali Tendulkar's Birthday feast got a little more special this year. The master blaster made sure that his life partner had a blast on her birthday too. And what's better than a scrumptious treat to celebrate the special day, right? Sachin and Anjali halted at a popular Gujarati restaurant with their family and friends to relish some yummy cuisine. Their daughter Sara, too, was present. In the photos that Sachin shared on Instagram, we see him enjoying a Gujarati thali with at least 13 different types of dishes on it.
We notice rotis alongside bowls of dal and kadhi. There are also bowls of aloo sabzi, bhindi, dal baati and many more. To make the platter more interesting, an assortment of chutneys and pickles are served on the plate. We also notice bowls of buttermilk, gulab jamun and other desserts on the side.
Here's what Sachin wrote in the caption, "Had a saras [nice] Gujarati thali at Shree Thaker Bhojnalay to celebrate Anjali's birthday." The food must have been too good to resist and we are sure the family enjoyed their meal to the fullest. So Sachin added, "Her Gujju genes are strong but our jeans' buttons were weak after this meal!"
Sachin wrote, "Also, was amazed to learn that this restaurant is running since 1945."

Sachin isn't just an expert in wielding his bat. The former cricketer can also handle a spatula in the kitchen. He has a foodie streak to him, and we aren't complaining. Sachin loves to cook as much as he enjoys relishing different cuisines. The cricketer once cooked up a storm in the kitchen. He did not disclose the name of the dish, saying, "Nobody knows what I am cooking; neither do I." However, we surely loved his cricket-style commentary while whipping up this dish. He channelled culinary vibes from around the world as he mimicked Salt Bae's gesture of sprinkling salt on food. "Yummy, soon to go in the tummy!" he wrote in his Instagram post.
