Popular blogger Amar Sirohi, known as 'foodie_incarnate' on Instagram, shared the clip of the peda being prepared in the sweet shop. The caption read, "ese banya jata hai World's Tastiest peda" (this is how the world's tastiest peda is made). The video showcases the intricate process of making the pedas, which involves cooking 25 kg of mawa on a low flame for at least two hours, adding brown and cardamom powder, and then putting the mixture in another machine, which shapes it into pedas. The pedas are then coated with sugar (called bura).

The sweet shop was established in 1864, and its unique method of making pedas has attracted fans for the past 170 years. The video received over 8k likes and 32 comments within five hours of being posted.
