But here, we gave it a chicken twist to make it less fatty, quick and easy for you to try at home. In this recipe of chicken rogan josh, fried chicken pieces are tossed in a mix of herbs and spices such as cloves, ginger-garlic and onion paste along with ground red chilli, Kashmiri red chilli, turmeric and black pepper. It is cooked for a while before adding saffron water. Put a dollop of ghee right before serving.
