Mint leaves are used globally to prepare chutneys, tea and detox drinks. They are very versatile and can even be just sprinkled over a dish for aroma. Besides, they also have several health benefits. They instantly curb stomach woes. Often when we complain about stomach ache, we are given a few drops of “pudin hara” because mint leaves are anti-inflammatory and help relieve indigestion. Rich in phosphorus, calcium and Vitamins C, D, E and A, they help improve the body's immune system and protect cells from any damage.
