Food is an integral part of any festivity. And, so was the case with Adnan Sami, who hosted an Eid party for many of his friends from the industry including Mini Mathur. She has shared glimpses of the sumptuous Afghani dinner on Instagram Stories. In the first picture, Mini gave us a view of the sumptuous feast. The showstopper was the special Afghani khichri quroot kept right in the middle. It's basically, a popular delicacy served on happy occasions in Afghanistan. It's a sticky rice dish typically cooked with meat, a bunch of spices and yoghurt. Besides that, there was a range of flavourful curries kept on the table.

There were chapatis, a lip-smacking gravy-based mushroom curry, deep-fried indulgent sticks, and mouth-watering kebabs as well. We could also spot what appeared to be aushak, again, an Afghan version of dumplings traditionally served with creamy yoghurt, some sauce and dried mint on top. There were some freshly baked pieces of bread kept on a plate. Thanking Adnan Sami and his wife Roya Faryabi, Mini wrote, “This is what Eid dinner looked like thanks to the magical,” in the first picture.

She has also shared a video on Instagram Stories taking us on a virtual tour of the spread where each and every dish could be viewed a bit closely. Here, she revealed that the special Afghani khichri quroot was cooked by Roya. She also added "Eid dinner goals." In her Stories, we could spot Mini's husband Kabir Khan, actor Arshad Warsi, and film director Vijay Krishna Acharya, among many others.

Mini Mathur is a big foodie and she likes to be vocal about her love for food. She often shares her indulgences online with a variety of food posts. Mini once shared a picture of her mid-morning cup of "coconut milk cappuccino," on Instagram Stories. She wrote, “Mid-morning coconut milk cappuccino,” for the caption.

Mini Mathur's travel diaries have a special section reserved for her gastronomic trails. When she went to Egypt with Sayani Gupta, Reshmy Kurian and Smriti Kiran, her Egyptian meal left us slurping. Her food spread included dishes like hummus, baba ghanoush, labneh, walnut muhammara, kofte, semak, tabbouleh made with the freshest parsley. We could also spot fattoush salad with Baladi bread that she was enjoying at Biota in Zamalek by the Nile.

We like seeing Mini Mathur exploring her foodie side with a number of cuisines.
