Ice cream is nothing less than a guilty pleasure for every sweet tooth out there, especially during summer. It won't be wrong to say that summer and ice cream are a match made in food heaven. The satisfaction of the creamy texture melting in your mouth is truly unimaginable. But it appears that the love for ice cream has landed at the centre of culinary experimentations. Yes, you guessed it right. We have another bizarre food combo on the block. A street vendor has now come up with tomato ice cream. Surprised? Wait till you see the video. The incident came to light after a clip, demonstrating its preparation, started making the rounds on the internet.

The now-viral clip shows a customer taking a tomato to the vendor. He chops it on an ice tray. Keeping the chopped tomatoes in the centre, he is seen adding caramel to it. Next up? He pours milk on top of it. After this, he crushes and blends all the ingredients together. While doing so, the vendor was heard saying, “This will only take five minutes to be prepared.” Soon after the crushing process, the ingredients turned into peachy paste, which he spread evenly on the ice tray for it to cool down. A few seconds after this, he used his flat tool and scraped it out. While serving, he kept the rolls of ice cream on a plate and decorated it with caramel sauce. This is not all. He even kept a tomato slice on top of it.
As soon as the video was shared, the viewers flooded the comments section with their reactions. And most of them were quick to disapprove of it. The video enraged many Instagram users. A comment read, “They will feed anything to people. Another sarcastically wrote, “Brother, you do one thing and make ice cream of karela too.” Some considered it to be a puree and asked, “Where is the pav?” A few surprisingly liked the combo and wrote, “Very nice.”
