Home delivery of food has become a game-changer for the industry. We can now place orders for our favourite foods with a few clicks, and get them delivered to our doorstep. Gone are the days when we would actually have to visit our nearby eateries to get some food! While online ordering has made life simpler, it also comes with a host of funny dilemmas and faux pas. Recently, one such experience was narrated by a man on Instagram. Comedian Mohanad Elshieky took to Instagram reels to share all about the time when he mistook a neighbour's delivery for his own and it will leave you in splits. Watch the full video here:

The video of the food delivery gone wrong was shared by the popular page Dash Humor (@dashhumor). It has received over 1.1 million views and 61.8k likes. In the clip, the comedian Mohanad Elshieky narrated his experience about how he ordered food from an app and he got a message from the delivery driver that he was downstairs. Since the door was closed, he requested Elshieky, "Can you come downstairs and pick up your food?" When the comedian went to get his food, he saw a man waving at him with a brown packet in his hand. Assuming him to be the delivery driver, he took the food bag from him and thanked him and left to go back into his apartment. The man, however, was not his delivery driver but his neighbour!
Later, the comedian saw that the man kept waving even after delivering the package and he wondered why. He thought that maybe he was trying to make new friends! However, it was actually him trying to ask back for his package. Meanwhile, the comedian was still assuming that it was his food. "I opened my bag expecting my food to be there, and I found a bunch of ingredients. Then I thought, is this one of those restaurants that expects you to cook your own food," he laughed in the video. Then he found out that the man was his neighbour who got locked out and wanted him to open the door as he forgot his key. Meanwhile, Elshieky just took his food and 'committed a crime'.
A number of internet users left their reactions to the incident in the comments section. Many of them said they could not control their laughter on hearing the ordeal. "I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my life as I did at this story," said one user. "Plot twist: the neighbour took your food and that's why he can't make eye contact," laughed another one.
