No matter what season it is, there is one thing that Indians just can't resist – chai. Yes, you heard that right. You might think that sipping a hot cup of tea in the scorching heat sounds crazy, but for some, it is a way of life. Chai stalls are set up at every street corner, serving cups of chai in clay cups or "kulhads". Recently, two Japanese boys in Mumbai shared a fun video on Instagram captioned, "When you are in India during the hot summer."

The clip shows the duo sweating and walking in the sun. One of them heads to a chai stall and orders two cups of chai. His friend, looking skeptical, asks him, "In this hot day, you drink chai?" The first friend, unfazed, replies in Hindi, "Zindagi wahi jeete hai jo garmi mein bhi chai peetey hai. [Life is truly lived by those who drink chai even in the heat.]" He hands his friend a glass cup of chai. After taking a sip, the first friend asks, "Kaisa laga? [How was it?]", to which the friend responds, “Ye nashe ki latt hai [This is an addiction.]”
