The post was shared on Twitter by user halitosis4700. It received over 170k views and thousands of comments and likes in a span of a few days. In the picture, we could see a plate with an achaar kept on it. The Twitter user's mother was dipping her Subway sandwich into the Indian relish. "Got my mom a sub and she's eating it with achaar. Peak Indian mom behaviour," she wrote in the caption of the post.

Interestingly, internet users found the pairing of Subway sandwich with pickle quite amusing and not bizarre at all. "Subway should introduce achari sauce," suggested one user.
