UK Mother Finds Cigarette Butt And Ash In Her Kid's 'Happy Meal'
The woman took to social media to complain about the 'Happy Meal'

Happy Meal and McDonald's are synonymous and we can't deny it. This is because apart from burgers, fries, and nuggets, the box also surprised the kids with fancy toys. Well, guess what? Happy Meal is surprising its customers but not with toys. A mom in the UK was left agitated after she found a cigarette butt inside her child's packet of French fries. A person, named Gemma Kirk-Bonner, was left appalled by her discovery and decided to share her shocking encounter on Facebook. The 35-year-old shared the picture of the packet on October 18. The picture shows a few fries left in the bottom of the packet with a cigarette butt next to it. If this wasn't enough to shock you, then you must know that they still also showed some ash lying in the corner of the packet. Wait, it isn't over yet. Gemma through a text with the picture revealed that after witnessing this, she even called the restaurant to complain. But instead of listening to her, the staff talked to her rudely and even disconnected the call on her face. Along with the picture, Gemma wrote, “Forget the toy...now comes with cigarette end as ash for extra taste...Phoned up to make a complaint but was rudely spoken to then she put the phone down on me!!”

In conversation with The Mail, Gemma said, “It has put me off. It's made me think twice about going to McDonald's. I normally take my sons on Friday, but I won't be doing it this time, that's for sure. I'm in the process of complaining to McDonald's head office.”
Soon after this post, several users expressed their disappointment in the comments section. Many supported Gemma and asked her to take serious action. One wrote, “Omg that's disgusting, I'd be fuming.”
A few suggested, “Post it on their Twitter! Companies hate bad publicity on social that open”.
A comment read, “That's awful! That must be happy meals free for life! Trading standards I'd say!”
Some users claimed that a similar incident had happened to them as well. “This happened to my Daughter tonight,” read another.
Replying to one of the comments, Gemma said, “I am literally walking around the house ranting, am more annoyed now as no apology whatsoever, just okay phone down.”
