Some days ago, a video featuring a street vendor making "Rajnikanth-style dosas" went viral on Instagram. His speed in preparing this beloved dish is what led to the nickname comparing him to the superstar (read the full story here). More recently, another street vendor's distinctive style of making a snack has captured the interest of social media users. In the reel by @original_food01, we see a street vendor adding handfuls of a series of ingredients to an empty paint bucket. The ingredients are stored in plastic bags that line three sides of his food stall. Once the dry ones have been added, he theatrically adds some pani (a liquid) to the mixture and proceeds to vigorously combine all ingredients. The video has clocked over 14 million views so far. Several people were reminded of Dolly Chaiwala, the viral sensation from Nagpur. Some joked that this vendor is another version of Dolly Chaiwala or is related to him.
One person wrote, "Dolly ka bhai mil gaya" ["Found Dolly's brother".] However, what concerned others was the unhygienic practices of the food stall. Check out some of the comments below:
