Cricketer Suresh Raina is a self-confessed foodie, but recently, he has also become popular as someone who loves cooking. He can be seen rustling up delicious dishes from time to time. On many occasions, he has shared videos and updates on his social media handles, allowing his followers a peek into his cooking skills. In his latest avatar as a cook, the former India batsman appeared to be making a dish rich in gravy; which looks like chicken curry, he was seen cooking it in an earthen pot. The gravy kept simmering as Raina stirred it with a big smile on his face.

“Doing what I love doing. Home cooking - healthy, delicious and super fun,” Raina said in the caption of the Instagram post, asking the account visitors whether they would like to try some of “Raina recipe”.

Sitting next to the earthen pot on the gas stove was a utensil filled with rice and water, suggesting Suresh Raina planned to eat whatever he was cooking with steamed rice.

This is not the first time Suresh Raina has tested his skills in the kitchen. He has shared several updates of him cooking something or the other on his “off day”. In a previous post, he happily appeared cooking in the kitchen as his daughter had fun around him and the popular song “Manike Mage Hithe” played in the background. Apart from his family, Suresh Raina enjoys relishing dishes with his teammates as well. As a member of Chennai Super Kings, once he and his teammates enjoyed a giant-size naan, which could easily feed 4-5 people in a single sitting.
