This sharabi chicken tikka recipe has been shared by Chef Anahita Dhondy on her Instagram handle. To start with the dish, cut the chicken into small pieces and marinate with salt, lemon juice, chili powder, and ginger-garlic paste. Marinate the chicken well and let it sit for a minimum of two hours. Meanwhile, in a bowl, whisk together hung curd, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, achaar oil, lemon juice, and kasuri methi.
Next, add this curd mixture to the marinated chicken pieces. Alongside, add 15ml whiskey and 30ml rum, and then mix it well and let it sit for at least another hour. The longer the marination the nicer the chicken will look. Finally, in a grill pan, add some butter or oil, and grill the marinated chicken pieces until they are nice and charred. Plate them and serve with sliced onions, some mint chutney, and a sprinkle of chaat masala. That's it! You have sharabi chicken tikka ready to be relished.
