No doubt K-dramas played a major role in popularising their local cuisine across the world. Kimchi fried rice or Kimchi Bokkeumbap is basically a simple and delicious rice dish that's prepared with kimchi, obviously, and a host of other ingredients. This is a beloved dish in Korea and includes one of the most flavourful ways of cooking rice. What's interesting is to see the way people dress it up with so many other food items. Many people go for chicken or pork. If you are a vegetarian or someone who likes to keep it simple, chef Ranveer Brar has shared a great recipe for you. He dropped the recipe for veg Korean kimchi rice through a post on Instagram.

For this, you need to make sumptuous kimchi paste first. Then, make kimchi with a lot of cabbage, salt, kimchi paste, vinegar and tomato ketchup. For the rice flour slurry also, you can use a small sauce pot, take water in it along with rice flour, salt and sugar.  For the main rice dish, heat some oil in a kadhai, add ginger, and garlic and saute it properly. Put baby corn, and button mushroom and toss on medium flame. Put some light soy sauce, prepared kimchi, and tomato ketchup. Add cooked rice, salt, and spring onion bulb and mix nicely. Korean kimchi rice is ready! Garnish it with spring onion, toasted white sesame seeds, prepared kimchi and coriander sprig.

Previously, Ranveer Brar shared a recipe for Kurkure momos that are crunchy and yummy. Yes, you can make this whenever hunger pangs strike. First, prepare the momo dough. Make a nice filling with chopped vegetables, salt, black pepper, paneer, mayonnaise and schezwan sauce. Now, roll out the dough and prepare momos by stuffing the filling inside. Take two different bowls. In one, make a slurry using maida, cornflour, water, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt and vinegar. Take another bowl and make a mixture with maida, cornflakes, poha powder, red chilli powder and salt. First, dip the momos in the slurry and then coat the momos with cornflakes mixture. Finally, fry the momos.
