For oats uttapam, you first need to whip up dosa-like batter with oats flour, sooji, baking soda and some spices. Then spread some of the batter on a pan and add vegetables to it. Finally, cook both the sides of the uttapam well and serve with some chutney or ketchup.

Method:

Oats flour- half cup

Sooji- half cup

Curd- half cup

Onion- 1, chopped

Tomato- 1, chopped

Capsicum- 1, chopped

Salt, as per taste

Red chilli powder- 1/4 teaspoon

Ginger- 1/2 teaspoon, grated

Green chilli- 1, chopped

Cumin seeds- 1/2 teaspoon

Baking soda- a pinch

Hing- a pinch

Method:

Add all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, except, onion, tomato capsicum and green chilli.

Add enough water to make a thick batter. Whisk everything together. Leave it aside for 10 minutes.

Grease the pan with some oil.

Add some batter to it and spread it with the ladle.

Spread onion, tomato, capsicum and green chilli on the top.

Cover lid for 2-3 minutes.

Open the lid and cook for a minute.

Now flip it and cook the other side.

Serve it hot.
