Constipation is one of the most common stomach problems where people face irregular bowel movements and it creates digestive issues in the stomach. Your stool or feces tend to become hard and it becomes difficult to pass. The common symptoms of constipation include fewer bowel movements, trouble passing stool, swollen belly or abdominal pain. The good news is that some home remedies can help relieve constipation easily. During the summer season, natural and homemade juices can be of great help. Nutritionist Dr. Simran Saini from Fortis Hospital in New Delhi suggests the following seven juices that are good to treat constipation.

Pineapple juice is very good for constipation as it provides both fluids and water that can help the stool pass through. Pineapple also has an enzyme called bromelain which helps in improving the bowel function and controlling regularity.

Freshly squeezed juices should be consumed immediately as they may get oxidized," says Dr. Saini. She also suggests that these juices should be consumed in the morning before breakfast or between breakfast and lunch to get relief from constipation. Apart from these juices, we can also have jeera water as it has thymol and other essential oils which help to regulate the digestive system and can treat constipation.
