Cooking Tips: Here Are 4 Different Ways To Cook Dahi Kebab:

1. Kadhai:

This method is the one that we are most familiar with. It involves the use of a kadhai to deep-fry the dahi kebabs. For this, all you have to do is heat some oil in a kadhai set on a low-medium flame. Then, gently slide the dahi kebabs in it and fry them until they turn golden brown in colour. Make sure to keep flipping them in between to ensure even cooking on both sides. Once done, remember to drain out the excess oil by transferring it to a plate lined with tissue paper. This way, they'll remain crisper for longer.

2. Pan:

Want to minimise the use of oil while cooking dahi kebabs? Simply cook them in a pan instead of a kadhai. This method is called shallow-frying and uses much less oil as compared to the traditional deep-frying method. Just drizzle some oil in a pan and arrange the dahi kebabs evenly all over it. Fry on one side, and then flip and cook on the other side. You can even drizzle some more oil over them while cooking. So, although this method uses oil, you'll be consuming fewer calories.

3. Oven:

Dahi kebab can also be prepared in an oven. It's an excellent method for those who wish to eliminate oil completely. Start by preheating your oven to 180 degrees C. Now just cover your baking tray with aluminium foil and arrange the dahi kebabs over it. You can gently brush them with oil before doing so to prevent them from sticking. Bake them for around 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Don't forget to flip them in between to ensure evening cooking.

4. Air Fryer:

Did you know you could also use an air fryer to cook dahi kebab? It's a great method for those trying to eat healthy. Just like an oven, you must preheat your air fryer as well. After this, all you have to do is arrange the dahi kebab evenly in the air fryer basket. Brush some oil over an air fryer for 10 to 12 minutes. The results are quite good, and your dahi kebabs will turn out just as crispy. If you want to try making it in an air fryer, here's an easy recipe for you to try.
