About Dahi Kebab Recipe: Soft tasty vegetarian kebabs made from hung curd and cheese with the crunchiness of onions and the flavors of ginger and pepper. Dahi kebabs are the perfect snack to relish along with a hot cup of tea accompanied with green coriander chutney. Crisp from the outside and melt in the mouth soft from inside.

Ingredients of Dahi Kebab

  • 1/2 Kg yogurt
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 4 green chillies, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 75 gms cheese
  • 2 tbsp coriander seeds and black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp ginger, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tbsp red chilli flakes
  • 1/2 cup besan, roasted
  • 100 gms paneer
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Dahi Kebab

Lay a muslin cloth over a bowl and pour the yogurt into it. Pick up the edges of the cloth and tie a knot. Hang it till it turns into a cheesy mixture.

Prepare the Filling:

1.
Grate the cheese. Dry roast coriander seeds & black pepper. Grind into a powder.

Mix grated cheese, a little coriander pepper powder, green chillies, onions, ginger and salt.
3.
Take hung yogurt in a bowl, add red chilli flakes and the rest of the coriander pepper powder.
4.
Bind with besan, paneer and corn flour.
5.
Put in the filling and shape into kebabs. Deep fry in oil and serve hot.
