Joining the bandwagon, Burger King Japan has come up with 'Ice Whopper'. You heard us. Deemed to be the first of its kind in the world, ice whopper is the classic whopper burger with ice shavings on the patty.
As per the webloid soranonews24.com, this Burger King meal is inspired from the classic kakigori shaved ice treats - a popular dessert in Japan, especially during the summers. A report on another website named Grapee states, it is a limited-time-only 'Natsukoi Set' (summer-special meal), which is specially prepared for the summer season.
Burger King Japan took to its official Twitter handle to announce the news. "World's first! Limited release of whopper with ice!" the tweet reads in Japanese. Take a look:

As per the announcement, made in Japanese, the meal includes an ice whopper and iced bottle of Coca-Cola. This offer will be available in limited stores in Japan for just two days - August 19 and 20, 2022, for 1000 Japanese Yen (approx Rs 590). The places that will offer this special burger include stores in Morito Kaigan, Hayama-cho and Kanagawa Prefecture. The brand also asks the patrons to book advance tickets to enjoy this one-of-a-kind meal.
