Dining out and enjoying meals at our favourite restaurants is an activity that we all eagerly look forward to. When it comes to enjoying good food, we are willing to spend a little bit extra too. However, when the meal ends up being too costly and that too for no reason, it does leave a little bit of disappointment behind. Recently, a customer visited a fancy restaurant for a meal and was quite surprised to see that they charged Rs 350 for a bottle of water. The tweet was shared by user Ritika Borah on July 10. It has received over 172k views and 2.4k likes since the time it was posted. In the picture, we could see a tall glass bottle of 660ml quantity that the user was served at a restaurant where she visited with a friend for lunch. As per Borah, she was charged Rs 350 for this glass bottle packed with 'natural mineral water'.
"Met up with a friend at this fancy restaurant for lunch, and you won't believe they charged Rs 350 for a bottle of water," read the tweet. So, what the Twitter user decided to do was to carry the bottle home and reuse it as she was charged for it in her bill. "I decided to bring the bottle home with me so that I can reuse it. Is it only me or you have done this too," questioned the user in his tweet.
The tweet struck a chord with many internet users online. A plethora of them shared that they did the same with the restaurants they visited.
