However, the festival wasn't the only reason for the family to spread cheer as Christmas Eve coincides with the birthday of Anil Kapoor, who turned 66 this December 24.

Now, you don't have to imagine what kind of party was thrown by the Kapoors on Christmas Eve as Rhea Kapoor gave a glimpse of it in an Instagram post. She has shared a series of photos filled with smiling faces, striking decor, and of course loads of food to make you crave instantly. It begins with a photo of Sonam Kapoor posing for the camera followed by the birthday boy cutting the cake. Then comes the dessert table, which looks nothing less than heaven for the sweet tooth. We see a variety of cakes and other sweet treats while some red grapes, strawberries, pita chips with two types of dips are also there. “24.12. I hope all are having a merry everything! Love, The Kapoors, Ahujas and Boolanis,” the caption read.
