There have been many instances of passengers losing their luggage at the airport but this passenger lost his mangoes, and it disheartened him. Abhishek Bhatnagar checked in a box of mangoes while travelling from Pune to Delhi by an Air Vistara flight but he never received it upon landing. He had specially bought the mangoes for his mother. And the mangoes were special Ratnagiri Alphonso mangoes, which are popular but uncommon. They are harvested by hand and their price is relatively higher than most mango varieties. So losing the mangoes that he got for his mother provoked him to seek help.

After being informed by the airline that the mangoes never arrived at the Delhi airport, Abhishek Bhatnagar tweeted about the situation and sought help from fellow Twitter users to highlight the issue on the platform. "Landed in Delhi, but @airvistara has lost my aam ki peti box, as it never arrived in Delhi as per their staff and complaint raised by them. All this when I am travelling business (class) with them. This is very disheartening as I got the Pune special Ratnagiri aam packed for my mother. (sic)"

He then asked Twitter users to support him by retweeting the post. He also said that money doesn't matter, but feeling do when it comes to mangoes! "Pune se ye aam to mujhe har halat mae chahiye (I need these mangoes from Pune at any cost)," he added in the post.

His plea was heard and several people retweeted the post as it got over 180K views. The post also came to the attention of Air Vistara. And well, the airline delivered a brand new box of Ratnagiri Alphonso mangoes to his home. In another tweet, Abhishek Bhatnagar thanked the airline and Twitter for helping him out. He also revealed that the airline bought the box from the same shop he had got the earlier box from and it was delivered the same day.
