Mac And Cheese Recipe: How To Make Mac And Cheese

First, heat olive oil and butter in a pan. Add onions, garlic and chilli flakes, and cook until the onions become golden brown in colour. Add salt and deglaze with white wine. For the white sauce, infuse warm milk with onion, garlic, bay leaf and nutmeg.

Strain the milk just before using it. In another pan, melt some butter and add the flour. Cook until the flour just begins to change colour. Now, add the infused milk, butter, cream and grated cheese. Allow it to boil for some time until it becomes thick in consistency. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in hot boiling salted water until half cooked.

Sprinkle some black pepper and a few drops of olive oil. Bake in an oven set at 180 degrees C for 15-20 minutes. Mac and cheese is ready!
