If you have been one of the two million followers of Mira Kapoor on Instagram, you must have figured by now that the 26-year-old is a hard core foodie, and a proud one at that. The mother of two does not only like eating out and trying new cuisines, she is quite capable of cooking up a storm herself. Mira often takes to Instagram to share her love for cooking, she is also very fond of eating clean and using all things natural and fresh in her food. On Tuesday evening, Mira Kapoor tried her hands at the very popular Japanese Katsu Curry. "My own Japanese Katsu curry from scratch. No store bought pastes or premixes", she captioned the image. The curry was vegan and also gluten free, Mira mentioned.

She paired the curry with white rice and topped it with a lemon wedge. Katsu curry is basically is a BBQ type sauce made with a host of seasonings, Worcestershire sauce and of course a lot of soy. The curry is slightly salty and sweet at the same time. A wide variety of vegetables and meat is also added to the curry that helps add bulk and flavour to the dish . Along with rice, the Katsu curry can also be served with noodles. Katsu curry is one of the most popular Japanese dishes, and Mira has time and again proved her love for Asian food through her AMA sessions.
