  • We have the recipe too.

We are celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi across India. The 10-day festival started on August 31, 2022 and will culminate with Ganesh Visarjan on September 9. 2022. During this time of the year, devotees welcome Lord Ganesha and worship him for wealth, success and prosperity. Alongside, food plays a major role during the festival. People prepare various sweet and savoury food items and offer Bhog to their beloved deity. That's not all. They go on a bingeing spree too, especially with modak. Considered to be Lord Ganesha's favourite mithai, modak is widely prepared during Ganesh Chaturthi. And we leave no room to overload ourselves with this classic mithai. It seems to be the same for Bollywood actor Shraddha Kapoor. At least her Instagram says so.

Shraddha recently took to the photo-sharing app to share a story featuring a plateful of ukadiche modak, with all smiles on her face. "Kuch nahi hota bhaie...Khate jao (Nothing happens bro, just keep eating)," she captioned the story. And we can't agree to it more; after all festivals are all about yummy indulgence. Take a look.
