Recently, one such list of best Mumbai restaurants got called out on Twitter. Mumbai residents were quite disappointed with this list of recommendations that surfaced online. Take a look:

The list was shared by user @kebabandcoke on Twitter. "Is this a joke," she wrote in the caption. The list has gone viral and received over 234k views and hundreds of comments and likes from internet users. "Things to do in Mumbai - these are some of the places you have to visit in the city," read the title of the post. In the list, there were recommendations for where to drink coffee and go out for lunch and dinner. There were also some rooftop restaurants and bars featured in the list. However, Mumbai residents called out the list for being too overpriced and not capturing the true essence of the city's varied and eclectic food landscape.
"Pretty sure anyone's going to end up being broke for at least 2 weeks after this experience," said one user in the reactions. "Has to be a joke. This is a list of places to avoid. None, I mean none serve great food. Some used to be fantastic. Not anymore," commented another user. Several others asked their friends from Mumbai to create a real list of better recommendations that could be tried without burning a hole in the pocket.
