Have you ever imagined how the world of gastronomy would have been if there was no fire, stove or induction cooktops? It seems the answer lies in 'slapping'. Yes, you heard us. As bizarre as it may sound, a man has recently proved that slapping a piece of chicken (or any meat) continuously for a certain period of time may help you cook a juicy and tender steak. YouTuber Lewis Weisz recently shared a video on his YouTube channel showing how, after several failed attempts, he finally cooked a piece of meat using slapping technique.

In the 13-minute video, Lewis was seen using different cooking methods to whip up the chicken. He also explained how, with the help of engineering, he created a 'slap-chicken' machine that helped him do the job. According to the man, he made sure the machine had faster slap rates, more impact and minimal heat loss. And it was found that 1,35,000 continuous slaps for 8 long hours managed to raise the temperature of the chicken and finally cooked it. He also informed that it took him two months of work to cook a 'medium-rate stake'.
