A Georgia restaurant has sparked criticism online after introducing a "bad parenting fee." The Toccoa Riverside Restaurant, situated in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Atlanta, has gained attention due to a photograph of its menu circulating on Reddit. The menu's unconventional addition is an "adult surcharge," marked simply as "$$$," without revealing the precise amount for what they term "adults unable to parent." The Reddit user who posted this picture captioned it, saying, "This restaurant charges you extra for bad parenting." The restaurant strictly follows a "no respect, no service" policy. They also add a 20% gratuity to bills for larger groups (more than six people), birthday celebrations, and those splitting their bills. If you choose to pay with a credit card, there is an extra 3.5% charge on top of the menu prices. Additionally, sharing food at the Toccoa Riverside Restaurant costs $3 (about Rs. 249).

This unique fee structure has sparked discussions about its pricing and the number of “red flags” in the menu. A user commented, “The number of red flags on this menu, I'd just go ahead and say no thanks. If that's the case, I don't have a lot of faith in the quality of their supply lines or in the rigour of their kitchen safety procedures."

“If I read this at a restaurant, I would probably leave. Charge for unruly kids and a share charge of $3, like, who cares if I want to share my food once I pay for it?” asked another.

Someone else added, “Extra charge for not using cash? 20% for separate checks and using the birthday menu?"
