Running a restaurant in the 21st century is not an easy task. In this age of rapid technological advancement and the proliferation of social media, restaurants have had to rethink their food strategy. It is no longer enough to serve food that is delicious - eateries also have to think about their food presentation and being a class apart from the rest. One way of doing this is plating. We recently saw on Reddit how establishments across the world are thinking of new and even bizarre ways to serve their food. Shared on Twitter by @blestallure, the creative butterfly-shaped ice cubes went viral in no time. The photos have received over 220k likes and counting, and 40k retweets as well. In the pictures, we can see regular ice cubes in two different drinks. While one seems to be a rose-flavoured latte, the other is a green Matcha tea. The addition of the butterfly-shaped ice cubes to the drinks made it look quite aesthetically appealing and different from the usual drinks.

Internet users loved the creative idea of using ice cubes to glam up a drink. They wanted to know where they could buy the mould for this. A few others also shared photos of the unique ice cubes they had encountered.
