In a recent video uploaded by Instagram user @ilysmnails, we can see a woman creating nails with lemon. The video begins with her sticking the lemon skin on her nails. Then she shapes the lemon with the nail and applies a gel. Once that is done, she smoothens the surface using a tool and finally applies a coat of clear nail paint. Ever since the video was uploaded, it has garnered 2.3 million views, 102K likes and thousands of comments where people have written against this kind of nail art. One person wrote, "I mean I thought the comments about rotting fruit were a bit excessive until I saw this. I thought she took them off after the video. Kinda gross you can literally see the rot happening."
Another person wrote, "I'm scared and can't understand how people find this nice it's just awful."
