Foodies in India are currently glued to Masterchef Australia's 13th season which airs on Disney+ Hotstar Premium. One of the prime reasons to watch this show is contestant Kishwar Chowdhury who is taking Indian cuisine on the global platform. After impressing the mentors with lip-smacking desi recipes in early episodes, she still has more to offer. However, this time she decided to prepare staple popular street food from Burma, Chicken Khao Soi. Kishwar prepared the delicacy using different condiments, lime, salted peanuts, chillies in soy sauce and fresh herbs.

Judge Andy Allen was mighty impressed with the food preparation. He went ahead to term it as “luxury” and “perfect.” Melissa Leong too found Kishwar's recipe “incredible.” Not just these two judges but Kishwar received appreciation from Jock Zonfrillo as well. He went ahead to give Kishwar a dummy score of “11 out of 10” in this “chicken” themed test.

In one of the previous episodes, Kishwar left the judges spellbound by making a mouth-watering Indian spread with an Australian touch. She made Hariyali Chicken with butter naan. She also added to the menu tomato chutney that was put together using Australian fruit Quandong.

A while back, Kishwar took a popular Bengali street food platter to the international kitchen. She used the test ingredient potato to make lip-smacking puchka, samosa and chotpoti.

Another Bengali item that got her brownie points on the show was Macher Jhol. This popular dish was accompanied by her other preparations including Barramundi Tomato Curry, Bean Bhorta and Jeera Rice.

Not just Indian spicy food but Indian-style dessert to pave its way to Masterchef Australia. Kishwar made a vibrant and visually pleasing kulfi named, “Persian Vanilla and Roses.” It was a heavenly blend of vanilla-pepper kulfi, cookies, pistachios, roses and chocolate discs.
