We all have at least one vegetable on our list that makes us cry at the dinner table. While some try to stay a mile and a half away from bitter gourd, there is a section that says no to brinjal. Relatable? You are not alone. Wondering why we are talking about a brinjal today? We came across a video that gave a new definition to brinjal “roasting”. So when a woman asked her sister to roast the brinjals, little did she know that it would end up being pure comedic gold. This is because her sister took the term “roasting”, in all its literal sense, and delivered a laughing stock to thousands of users on the internet. We can bet that you haven't seen such roasting of brinjal in your life.

Taking the roasting of brinjal quite literally, her sister began criticising the vegetable in the most unexpected way possible. Yes, you read that right. And after learning what she said about it, we really think that the vegetable would be offended. The clip opens with a small brinjal kept on the kitchen counter. With the camera pointed at it, the sister in the background can be heard saying, “Tu itni gathiya sabzi hai ki log tujhe maar maar ke tera bharta bana dete hain. Aloo ko dekh vo kaha se kaha pahunch gaya, par tu ab tak yahin hai kyunki tu sabki last choice hai. (You're such a terrible vegetable that people would beat you up to turn you into a mashed dish. Look at potatoes, how they've come so far, but you're still stuck here because you're everyone's last choice).”
Expectedly, in no time the comments section of the post was swamped with the hilarious comments. Innumerable users also flooded it with memes.
Many users were quick to confess in the comments section that they “don't like brinjal.”

But a few sided with the vegetable and pointed out how good the baigan ka bharta tastes. A comment read, “Gathiya sabzi nahi hai.Baingan ka bharta bada mast hota hai. Aadmi 2/3 roti jyaada khaa jaaye swaad swaad mei. Baingan ka bharta.” (It's not terrible. Baingan ka bharta is so tasty that one ends up eating extra rotis with it.)
What do you think? Do you also have a fondness for baigan ka bharta?
